Baseball Recap: Bonita Takes a Loss

Bonita and Trabuco Hills squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Bonita had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 4-3. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bonita saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landen Lambert, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Bonita's loss dropped their record down to 16-12. As for Trabuco Hills, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 21-7-1.

Bonita does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Trabuco Hills, they will challenge Fountain Valley at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Barons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Mustangs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
