Volleyball Recap: Capuchino's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

It was a good run, but Capuchino unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-match winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Mercy Bears by a score of 3-2. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Bears when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Capuchino actually scored more points across those five sets (106-91), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 25-19, 26-24, 16-25, 9-25, 15-13.

Capuchino's defeat dropped their record down to 22-4. As for Mercy, their victory ended a seven-match drought on the road and puts them at 12-15.

Coming up, Capuchino will take on Mills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mercy, they will host Sacred Heart Prep at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
