Basketball Recap: Hill-McCloy Comes Up Short

Hill-McCloy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Durand Railroaders, falling 58-32. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 591st, while the Railroaders are ranked 156th).

Hill-McCloy's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Durand, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Hill-McCloy has already played their next game (against Chesaning), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Durand won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against North Branch at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
