Volleyball Recap: Benton Find Success

Benton won the last time they faced Mt. Vernon and things went their way on Saturday too. The Rangers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Rams.

While Benton won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-22.

Benton's win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Mt. Vernon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-18.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Benton will head out to challenge Vienna at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mt. Vernon, they will venture away from home to face off against Althoff Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
