There's no place like home for Alexander, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Attica Blue Devils on Tuesday. Considering the Trojans have won five matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Emily Pietrzykowski made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
