Softball Recap: Brookland-Cayce Bearcats vs. Swansea Tigers
Brookland-Cayce was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 17-1 walloping at the hands of the Swansea Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Brookland-Cayce of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
For Swansea's part, Olivia Porter was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with a home run, five RBI, and three runs. Kandance Vencill was another key contributor, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.
