Softball Recap: Cottage Hill Christian Academy Wins Going Away Against Flomaton

While Cottage Hill Christian Academy put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Flomaton. The Warriors blew past the Hurricanes 12-0. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by eight runs or more this season.

The result came thanks to Madison Brown's shutout, as she gave up just four hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Paislei Daughtery, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylyn Mosley, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

The victory made it two in a row for Cottage Hill Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 9-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.5 runs over those games. As for Flomaton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Coming up, Cottage Hill Christian Academy will take on Elberta in a tournament on Saturday. As for Flomaton, they will be playing at home against Pensacola at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hurricanes are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
