Baseball Recap: Wheeler Takes a Loss

Wheeler fell victim to Biggersville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Lions, falling 18-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Eagles were not able to get on the board.

Wheeler has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Biggersville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-13 record this season.

While Wheeler had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
