Bishop Gorman won the last time they faced Desert Pines and things went their way on Wednesday too. Everything went the Bishop Gorman Gaels' way against the Desert Pines Jaguars as the Bishop Gorman Gaels made off with a 61-41 victory. The Gaels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 20 points or more this season.

Bishop Gorman was led to victory by Kenzee Holton and Anna Barragan. Holton almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine steals, while Barragan went 7 for 13 on her way to 19 points. Those 19 points gave Barragan a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Addysen Carr, who posted nine points and four steals.

Bishop Gorman was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Desert Pines only racked up eight assists.

Despite the loss, Desert Pines still got an impressive performance from Taveah Oliver, who went 8 of 17 en route to 21 points along with six steals and five boards. Another player making a difference was Alyvia Harrington, who had two points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.

Bishop Gorman has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.1 points per game. As for Desert Pines, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Bishop Gorman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 63-32 win against Liberty on the 31st. As for Desert Pines, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 76-49 victory against Las Vegas on the 31st.
