Softball Recap: Cameron Takes a Loss

Cameron lost against Madonna two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Dragons lost 9-2 to the Blue Dons. The Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cameron saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashton Anderson, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Another was Kendra Thomas, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Cameron's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Madonna, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Cameron will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Frontier at 5:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Madonna, they will head out on the road to square off against Catholic Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Crusaders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.17 runs per game on average), something the Blue Dons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
