Volleyball Recap: Fresta Valley Christian Comes Up Short

Fresta Valley Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Regents Lions, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Friday.

While Fresta Valley Christian was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-13, 25-15.

Fresta Valley Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Regents, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Looking ahead, Fresta Valley Christian will take on United Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Regents, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Grace Christian on the 30th.
