Softball Recap: Eatonville Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four games, Eatonville finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They came up short against the Fife Trojans, falling 21-1. The contest marked the Cruisers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Eatonville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zoe Burns, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Eatonville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Fife, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Eatonville will square off against Steilacoom at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fife, they will challenge Franklin Pierce at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
