Volleyball Recap: Amelia Arzaga and Kamy King Secure Win for Glendora + How To Watch

Glendora entered their tilt with Ayala on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bulldogs. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-15, 21-25, 25-22.

Glendora was led to victory by Kamy King and Amelia Arzaga. King had 21 digs, while Arzaga had 19 assists and four digs. Those 21 digs gave King a new career-high.

Glendora was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least ten aces in three consecutive matchups.

When it comes to explaining why Ayala lost, don't look at Angelina Mercado. Despite the final result, she had 18 kills and one block. Mercado is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had seven or more in each of the last nine games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ella Galindo, who had four blocks and two aces.

Glendora's record now sits at 17-9. As for Ayala, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season.
