Here are some fun facts from what went down on National Signing Day in Iowa:



- The University of Iowa landed six in-state recruits, including 4-star Mt. Vernon T Tristan Wirfs.
- Iowa State did well itself, landing six Hawkeye State recruits, including 3-stars Dowling (West Des Moines) OLB Jake Hummel, Iowa City West (Iowa City) T Alex Kleinow, Waterloo West's (Waterloo) Devon Moore, Ames' T Colin Newell and Washington (Cedar Rapids) OLB O'rien Vance.
- Jim Harbaugh and the University of Michigan signed 4-star Iowa City West WR/FS Oliver Martin to play in Ann Arbor.
- 3-star Spirit Lake T Zach Dykstra was the lone Iowa recruit to leave the Midwest, opting for the Florida sunshine and the chance to play for the Hurricanes at The U.
