Football Recap: Harrison Panthers vs. Lewis-Palmer Rangers

Harrison lost against Lewis-Palmer back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers were dealt a 60-20 loss at the hands of the Rangers. The Panthers were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was RAWLSTON JOHN, who rushed for 52 yards and one touchdown. JEILO HAMENYIMANA was another key player, rushing for 115 yards and one TD on only 12 carries.

Lewis-Palmer got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Greg Moore out in front who rushed for 133 yards and a pair of scores on only 15 carries. Moore's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 107 rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Thompson, who rushed for 44 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

This is the second loss in a row for Harrison and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Lewis-Palmer, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Harrison is taking a road trip to square off against Discovery Canyon at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lewis-Palmer, they will welcome Palmer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rangers will be up against the Terrors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 36.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
