Jaiden Shufeldt gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April on Monday. He made a splash, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over five innings pitched. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Anderson back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Shufeldt also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Taylor is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-12 otherwise.

Coming up, Shufeldt and Taylor will head out on the road to square off against Carlson at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
