Elliott Sturbaum put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March of 2024 on Friday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He also allowed three hits, which is notable because McIntosh is 2-1 when he allows at most three hits, but 6-11 otherwise.

Sturbaum's strong effort led McIntosh over Dutchtown and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
