Oratory Prep and Brearley are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Rams will head out to square off against the Bears at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Oratory Prep is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Elizabeth just ended the team's nine-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 7-1 to the Minutemen. The game marked the Rams' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Oratory Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Gaffney, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Brearley didn't have quite enough to beat Dayton on Saturday and fell 3-2. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oratory Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Brearley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Oratory Prep came out on top in a nail-biter against Brearley when the teams last played back in April, sneaking past 6-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
