Basketball Recap: Crest Ridge Starts Season with Victory Against Green Ridge

Crest Ridge took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 55-45 win over the Green Ridge Tigers. The victory continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won eight in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crest Ridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Morgan Wyatt, who posted 15 points. What's more, Wyatt posted two steals, the most she's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brilynn Fleming, who put up 14 points and three steals.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crest Ridge will welcome Adrian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Green Ridge, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Prairie Home at 6:00 p.m. on December 2.
