Football Game Preview: North Rowan Cavaliers vs. Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons + How To Watch

Two dominant signal callers in Michael Alford and Max Sutton are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The North Rowan Cavaliers will be playing at home against the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Rowan will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, North Rowan beat South Stanly 20-14.

Jo Jo Tarver had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 147 yards and one score, while also picking up 41 receiving yards. North Rowan is undefeated when Tarver posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 0-3 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 28-7 to Mountain Island Charter. The Gryphons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The win got North Rowan back to even at 3-3. As for Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-3.

North Rowan didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy when the teams last played back in November of 2021, but they still walked away with a 34-28 victory.
