Softball Game Preview: St. Charles Bulldogs vs. Montabella Mustangs

St. Charles is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Montabella a nine-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The St. Charles Bulldogs will look to defend their home field against the Montabella Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Wednesday, St. Charles came up short against Michigan Lutheran Seminary and fell 5-1.

St. Charles saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brooklyn Bila, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Morley Stanwood hit Montabella with a five-run fifth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Mustangs lost 12-2 to the Mohawks.
