Basketball Recap: Saint James Comes Up Short

Saint James is ranked highly in their home state and on Tuesday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Sidwell Friends. The Saints took a blow against the Quakers, falling 59-31. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Saints have suffered since February 7, 2025.

Saint James' defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-5. As for Sidwell Friends, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5.

Looking ahead, Saint James won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Maret at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sidwell Friends, they will square off against Georgetown Day at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
