If Fayetteville wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Forrest, they should've done a better job of containing Quincy Mitchell. The Rockets took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 38-6 win over the Tigers for which the team can thank Mitchell, who rushed for 308 yards and three scores while picking up 11.4 yards per carry. Mitchell is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 121 every time he's taken the field this season.

Forrest pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.7 points over those games. As for Fayetteville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Forrest has already played their next game, a 54-35 defeat against Sequatchie County on the 26th. As for Fayetteville, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Huntland on October 3.
