Soccer Recap: Huron Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Huron's offense. They fell just short of the Greenhills Gryphons by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Huron came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked sixth, while Greenhills are ranked 58th).

Huron's defeat dropped their record down to 13-2-3. As for Greenhills, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-4-2 record this season.

Huron does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Greenhills, they will challenge Star International Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
