A-8 South - Southern (8 Man) recap October 22, 2013

Hoehne extended the longest winning streak in A-8 South - Southern (8 Man) this week by beating Fowler, 40-0. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.

Hoehne took down the Grizzlies 40-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Wyatt Schrepfer ran for 215 yards during the win.

Swink's dynamic duo of Clay Hirakata and Cole Grenard proved tough for Manzanola to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Hirakata threw for 117 yards and 2 touchdowns and Grenard had 82 yards receiving. Josh Rocha helped Swink's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 27 yards.

Schrepfer was a passing and rushing force as Robert Schafer's team defeated Fowler. Schrepfer's favorite target this week was Tyler Moltrer, who caught 2 passes for 26 yards.

Schrepfer was a beast in the backfield as the Farmers bested John Ayers' team.

The Grizzlies' Cooper Wright and Larry Hamilton led the league in both passing and receiving yards. Wright has thrown for 736 yards this season, while Hamilton has 17 catches for 422 yards. Hoehne's Schrepfer leads the league in rushing yards with 1,146.

McClave led the league in scoring this week after putting up 54 points on Cripple Creek-Victor.
