Baseball Recap: Cleveland Comes Up Short

Cleveland lost against Mannford last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cleveland Tigers came up short against the Mannford Pirates, falling 14-4. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Mannford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cleveland will host Pawhuska at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cleveland has given up an average of 7.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Mannford, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Kiefer at 4:30 p.m.
