Volleyball Recap: Head-Royce Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the Head-Royce Jayhawks came up short against the Las Lomas Knights and fell 3-1. While the Jayhawks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 25-19 in the first set.

Head-Royce started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-14.

This is the second loss in a row for Head-Royce and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Las Lomas, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Head-Royce wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Bentley on the 12th. As for Las Lomas, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Concord on the 13th.
