Altamont came into Saturday's match having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Wendover Wildcats on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-9, 25-15.

Jada Miles paced Altamont's offense, picking up 11 kills. Miles got some help from Lauren Thacker and her 27 assists. Hazlie Bagley controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Altamont's win bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Wendover, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-21 record this season.

Coincidentally, Altamont and Wendover will both be playing Tabiona the next time they take the court. The Longhorns will head out to face the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will host them at 2:15 p.m. on Friday.
