Volleyball Recap: Forest Wildcats vs. Trinity Catholic Celtics

After flying high against West Port last Wednesday, Forest came back down to earth. The Forest Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Trinity Catholic Celtics on Tuesday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Celtics recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 25-10.

Trinity Catholic found their leader in underclassman Lyla Huggins, who had 18 digs and two aces. Huggins is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 18 or more in the last four games she's played dating back to last season.

Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Trinity Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

Forest will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against DeLand at 6:30 p.m. As for Trinity Catholic, they will play host again on Wednesday to welcome Vanguard, where the match is scheduled at 6:30 p.m.
