Austin Royals HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 66-37 loss at the hands of the Smithville Tigers.

Austin Royals HomeSchool's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-8. As for Smithville, with the victory, they broke their 23-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-6.

Austin Royals HomeSchool has already played their next match, a 45-43 win against Rockdale on the 6th. As for Smithville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, an 89-30 loss against Elgin on the 6th.
