Softball Recap: Macon County Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Macon County's offense. They came up short against the Westmoreland Eagles on Thursday, falling 6-0. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in March of 2023.

Macon County's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Westmoreland, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Macon County will challenge Clay County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westmoreland, they will square off against Friendship Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Westmoreland is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.
