Humboldt won the last time they faced Yates Center and things went their way on Monday too. The Cubs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cubs.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Humboldt took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-14.

Humboldt got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bailey Daniels out in front who had six digs and five assists. Skylar Hottenstein was another key player, getting eight digs and two aces.

Humboldt's record is now 19-7. As for Yates Center, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-10 record this season.

Humboldt will challenge St. Paul at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Yates Center, they will host Oswego at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
