Baseball Game Preview: Westview Warriors vs. Adams Central Flying Jets

The Westview Warriors will take on the Adams Central Flying Jets on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Westview comes in on three and Adams Central on seven.

Westview is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They walked away with a 4-1 victory over Lakeland.

Maverick Deveau was excellent, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with two RBI and one double. Jaxon Miller also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Adams Central hadn't beaten Bluffton on the road since May 4, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Monday. The Flying Jets had just enough and edged out the Tigers 3-2.

The team relied heavily on Jacob Miller, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Joey Everett, who got on base in two of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Westview's record now sits at 14-11. As for Adams Central, their record is now 16-9.
