Basketball Recap: Colstrip Triumphs

Colstrip got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They came out on top against the Lame Deer Morning Stars by a score of 67-59 on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Colts: when they faced off against the Morning Stars back in January, they had to take a 73-63 defeat.

The victory got Colstrip back to even at 6-6. As for Lame Deer, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colstrip will take on Lodge Grass on Friday. Colstrip has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Lame Deer, they will face off against Huntley Project at 12:00 p.m. on February 13th.
