Basketball Game Preview: Stuart W. Cramer Storm vs. Crest Chargers

The Stuart W. Cramer Storm will face off against the Crest Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Stuart W. Cramer has ten straight victories, Crest has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Thursday, Stuart W. Cramer was able to grind out a solid win over South Point, taking the game 44-36.

It was another big night for Oshauna Holland, who went 7 of 16 on her way to 18 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. She has been hot for a while, having also posted three or more steals the last 44 times she's played. Lauren Humphrey was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and nine boards.

Meanwhile, Crest was just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 53-52 to Ashbrook. While the Chargers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Greenwave 17-13 in the first quarter.

Stuart W. Cramer's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.3 points per game. As for Crest, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Stuart W. Cramer was able to grind out a solid win over Crest when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 50-43. Will Stuart W. Cramer repeat their success, or does Crest have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
