Pleasant Grove will head into Tuesday's matchup having proved themselves against Pittsburg: Pleasant Grove took a 27-point defeat the last time they faced off against Pittsburg, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Pleasant Grove skirted past Pittsburg 54-52. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

Meanwhile, North Lamar entered their tilt with Bonham on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They strolled past the Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 64-50.

Pleasant Grove is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.9 points per game. As for North Lamar, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-8.

Pleasant Grove came up short against North Lamar in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 55-42. Can Pleasant Grove avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
