Soccer Game Preview: Ridge Community vs. Davenport

The Ridge Community Bolts will take on the Davenport Broncos at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Thursday, Ridge Community didn't have quite enough to beat Poinciana and fell 2-1. The Bolts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Davenport's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lake Gibson on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 325th, while the Braves are ranked 54th).

Davenport's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Ridge Community, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Ridge Community came up short against Davenport when the teams last played on Tuesday, falling 3-1. Can Ridge Community avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
