Volleyball Recap: North Putnam Snags Sixth Win in Last Seven Games

North Putnam lost to Martinsville back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Cougars walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Artesians.

North Putnam's offense was headlined by Michael Springmeyer and Zach Riley, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Bastian Sobrino-Behler and his 17 assists. He was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

North Putnam is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Martinsville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.
