Baseball Game Preview: Silver Creek Dragons vs. Columbus North Bull Dogs

The Silver Creek Dragons are taking a road trip to take on the Columbus North Bull Dogs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Silver Creek is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

Silver Creek's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They came out on top against Charlestown by a score of 4-0.

Meanwhile, Columbus North posted their closest victory since April 9th on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Shelbyville 9-8. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Brock Kintner was incredible, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. Jack Whaley also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Columbus North hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Shelbyville struck out seven times.

Silver Creek's record now sits at 10-3. As for Columbus North, their record is now 6-8.

Silver Creek skirted past Columbus North 3-1 in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
