Basketball Game Recap: West Side Roughriders vs. Seton Hall Prep Pirates

The West Side Roughriders lost against the Seton Hall Prep Pirates back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. West Side was outmatched by the Pirates at home and fell 78-51.

Leading Seton Hall Prep to victory were Gino Romano and Alex Ante. Romano scored 16 points along with two steals, while Ante scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Romano hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Beazer, who scored nine points.

West Side's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Seton Hall Prep, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Side will challenge the Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Seton Hall Prep, they will head out on the road to challenge the Jaguars at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. East Orange Campus presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Pirates in New Jersey (the Jaguars are ranked 21st, while the Pirates are ranked 128th).
