Central Christian has gone a perfect 10-0 against Mansfield Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Mansfield Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was JR Reeder, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double. Joshua Hillman also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Mansfield Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Central Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-6.

Central Christian took their win against Mansfield Christian when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 27-3 score. Will the Comets repeat their success, or do the Flames have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
