Wheaton extends home losing streak to five

The Wheaton Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by Whitman 84-50. Wheaton has struggled against Whitman recently, as their contest on Monday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Among those leading the charge was Thomas Farrell, who went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 23 points and 3 assists. The match was his third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Curran, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.

Wheaton's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Whitman, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wheaton will square off against Poolesville at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Whitman, they will head out on the road to face off against Kennedy at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Kennedy's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
