Volleyball Recap: Waubonsie Valley Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Waubonsie Valley can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lockport Porters on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.

Lockport's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Natalie Bochantin, who had six digs and two aces.

Waubonsie Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 22-16. As for Lockport, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 31-7.

Waubonsie Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lockport, they will head out on the road to face off against Joliet West at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
