Central Christian Academy can bid farewell to their three-match losing streak thanks to their match on Tuesday. They won by a set and slipped past the Ell-Saline Cardinals 2-1. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Central Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-10, 25-16.

Jaye McCurdy paced Central Christian Academy's offense, picking up 12 kills. McCurdy really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 14. Audrey Arnold controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.
