Atlantic Christian's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Sunday. They claimed a resounding 76-48 victory over the Veritas Christian Academy Lions. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 39-38 win the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2024.

Caden Kim was nothing short of spectacular: he went 13-for-27 en route to 33 points and five steals. Those 33 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ethan Costello, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine assists.

The victory got Atlantic Christian back to even at 1-1. As for Veritas Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Atlantic Christian and Veritas Christian Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Cougars see the court they'll take on Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on December 8. As for Veritas Christian Academy, their break will end when they face The Pilgrim Academy at 4:30 p.m. on December 5.
