Baseball Recap: Rim of the World Comes Up Short

Rim of the World lost against Arroyo Valley on April 4th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Fighting Scots fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 7-6.

Ryder Granger was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Collin Johnstone, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.

Rim of the World's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Arroyo Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

While Rim of the World had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
