Benbrook came tearing into Friday's contest with five straight wins, and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Young Women's Leadership Academy Owls with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Benbrook walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final set scores wound up at 25-13, 25-19, 25-19.

Benbrook has now won 14 of their last 17 games on the road. That's helped them to a 26-14 record this season. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-4 Diamond Hill-Jarvis and 5-19 Young Women's Leadership Academy (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 32% over those games). As for Young Women's Leadership Academy, they have traveled a rocky road for a while, having lost 20 of their last 25 games, dating back to last year. That's dragged them to a 5-19 record this season.

As of now, neither Benbrook nor Young Women's Leadership Academy have any future games scheduled.
