Basketball Game Preview: Johnson Atomsmashers vs. Liberty County Panthers

The Johnson Atomsmashers will head out on the road to challenge the Liberty County Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Johnson is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Johnson was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 38-34 to Groves.

Meanwhile, Liberty County lost 50-27 to Calvary Day on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now lost six in a row.

Johnson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Liberty County, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Johnson couldn't quite finish off Liberty County when the teams last played back in February and fell 38-36. Can Johnson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
