Ashland is 6-1 against Rhinelander since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Oredockers will take on the Hodags at 7:00 p.m. Ashland's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Ashland is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They never let Hayward get on the board and left with a 1-0 win.

Meanwhile, Rhinelander entered their tilt with Antigo on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Red Robins. Give Rhinelander's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Rhinelander's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Ashland, they now have a winning record of 7-6-2.

Ashland was able to grind out a solid win over Rhinelander in their previous matchup back in May of 2025, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Oredockers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
