KIPP SF College Prep wins going away against Rise University Prep

Recap: KIPP SF College Prep Phoenix vs. Rise University Prep Panthers
Even though the Rise University Prep Panthers scored an imposing 62 points on Thursday, the KIPP SF College Prep Phoenix still came out on top. KIPP SF College Prep blew past Rise University Prep 82-62.
Rise University Prep's loss came despite strong showings from Marcus Cage and Tyrone Hillman III. Cage scored 16 points, while Hillman III scored 16 points. Cage scored a full 25.8% of Rise University Prep's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Wilson, who scored 8 points.
KIPP SF College Prep's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Rise University Prep, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
KIPP SF College Prep will head out on the road to face off against Oceana at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Oceana will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Rise University Prep will take on Valley Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
